What is Trillian?

Trillian is a fully featured, stand-alone, skinnable chat client that supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC.

After installing Trillian

After completing the installation you will be asked to create a user profile for Trillian, afterwards Trillian starts for the first time.
Click "Trillian" in the main window followed by "Connections" -> "Manage my connections" to get to the preference window for additional connections.


When you are there click "Add a new connection" followed by the "IRC" button.


Here you have to enter the information according to the picture below (mind to exchange the nicknames and the user info). If you want IRC to connect automatically at startup, mark the checkbox.


Thereafter yo have to click the newly appeared IRC icon (a white circle below the user icon) and then "Join a channe...". Enter "#travian" and hit ok to join the international Travian channel.


In the end a window similar to the one below should appear, congratulations - you successfully connected to the Travian IRC Network.
