Nicknames

If you use mIRC (Chat program), it is important and recommendable that you have your own nickname registered.
The registration will be confirmed by an email, so please use a valid address!

First you have to change your nickname to the one you would like to register:
/nick new_nick

After having done that:
/nickserv register yourpassword your@email.address

The following text will appear in your status window if the registration has been successful:
-NickServ- A passcode has been sent to your@email.address, please type /msg NickServ confirm passcode to complete registration

Go to your inbox and look for an email coming from:
services@travian.org
If you don`t see it, check your spamfolders!

You will see a code in the email which you have to copy/paste/rewrite on the IRC server.
/msg NickServ confirm passcode

If you have done this correctly, the following text will appear:
-NickServ- Nickname YourNick registered under your account: host
-NickServ- Your password is yourpassword - remember this for later use.

When you see that, you successfully created your own nickname/account on IRC. During your next visit you will have to identify yourself using the following command:
/nickserv identify your_password
